The first belongs to God. We find this principle all through God’s Word. Tithing, giving God the first ten percent of our income to the local church, is the primary way we acknowledge that God is first. (Proverbs 3:9,10)
Giving is the antidote for materialism. Whereas the tithe is giving ten percent of your income to the local church, an offering is given out of the ninety percent of your income. Therefore the offering is giving over and above the tithe. The Bible says that by giving generously we are able to “take hold of the life that is truly life.” You aren’t really living unless you are freely giving. (I Timothy 6:18,19)
Giving is the only area in the Bible where God invites us to test Him. Give your tithe (the first 10% of your income) to God and see if He does not open the floodgates of heaven to bless you in ways that you never dreamed possible. (Malachi 3:10)
Even when the stock market’s down, you can make an investment that pays dividends for a lifetime and beyond. By investing in the life-changing message of Jesus, you can leverage your money for eternal purposes. (I Timothy 6:7)
THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT AND GENEROSITY!
God created you with gifts that fill an important need in the local church and make an eternal difference in the lives of people. Below is a list of areas where you can find a place to serve in our church family.
Join a Team!
We are looking for happy, energetic, and excited people who want to make every individual’s visit to Vintage special and welcoming from the moment they step out of their car.
Serving Opportunities include:
At Vintage, we believe that every Christian is called to be a minister. Do you love talking to people about Jesus, praying for specific needs & requests or visiting the sick and elderly in the hospital?
Serving Opportunities include:
Take equal quantities of excitement, energy, and adventure. Mix it with meaningful teaching, storytelling, and song. Voila, you have the children’s ministry of Vintage Church! We offer age-specific classrooms for children 6 weeks all the way up through 5th grade.
As part of Vintage Kids, you’ll interact with children and families while helping with our mission to introduce kids to Jesus in an environment that is safe, friendly, and fun.
**To protect the youngest in our church, a criminal background check MUST be completed before you can serve in Vintage Kids.
The Creative & Worship Arts team at Vintage Church oversees our services and big events from the creative and production standpoint. Help us deliver an atmosphere of excellence in our weekly gatherings!
Serving Opportunities include:
As a first time guest, you will first be greeted by volunteers at our secure Check-In located outside of our ministry area. Here you will complete a guest card for our staff to have all the necessary information to properly care for your children. You will also receive security tags for you and your child to be properly identified.
Following the check-in process, each child will be directed to the appropriate classroom to be greeted by their teacher. During our services each child will experience Bible-centered messages and activities geared toward their specific age. Once the adult service dismisses, you will return to your child’s classroom and present the security tags given at check-in to the teacher. These security tags will be checked and removed on your way out of the ministry area.
*The leaders in Vintage Kids are subjected to a criminal background check prior to serving.

You’ve probably seen Small Groups meeting and not even realized it. A small group looks like friends at lunch, teams playing basketball, or people studying a book or topic of interest. At its core, a small group is a small gathering of people, and it is less about what you do and more about who you do it with. By participating in Small Groups, you can expect to connect with others through a common activity, engage in life giving conversation and request prayer.
Most groups meet once a week for three semesters a year throughout the Austin Metro area—winter/spring, summer and fall. Small Groups are meant to bring meaning and community into the flow of your life, so it is still beneficial and encouraged to join a group even if you can’t attend regularly.
Most Small Groups meet for a semester to easily allow you to try multiple groups each year. As relationships form some groups choose to stay together for consecutive semesters, but new members are always welcome to join groups easily and regularly.
Childcare varies from group to group. When you search our directory for a group, the group profile will indicate if childcare is available.
We know that not everyone will find the best fit with the first group they try. We encourage you to select a few groups that interest you, contact the leaders and try out different groups before the one that best suits you. We believe there is a group that is right for everyone—including you!
